Terms of Service

1. About Doobitech

Doobitech is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables laundry and dry-cleaning businesses ("Shops") to receive and manage customer orders via WhatsApp. Doobitech is operated by a DED-licensed mainland business in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By creating an account, completing the setup checklist, or using any part of the Doobitech platform, you ("Shop Owner") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Subscription and billing

2.1 Doobitech offers a flat monthly subscription of AED 299 per shop, billed in advance on a monthly basis.

2.2 A 7-day free trial is provided. The trial period begins only when the Shop Owner completes all required setup steps and the WhatsApp bot goes live. The trial does not begin at signup.

2.3 No credit card is required to start the trial. Payment details must be provided before the trial ends to continue using the service.

2.4 If payment fails, the shop's bot will be suspended after a 3-day grace period. The Shop Owner will be notified via WhatsApp and email.

2.5 All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are exclusive of VAT. If VAT becomes applicable under UAE law, it will be added to invoices at the applicable rate.

2.6 Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date.

3. Cancellation and refunds

3.1 Shop Owners may cancel their subscription at any time from the billing page in their dashboard.

3.2 Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.

3.3 Doobitech does not offer refunds except where required by UAE consumer protection law.

4. Acceptable use

4.1 The platform may only be used for lawful laundry and dry-cleaning business operations in the UAE.

4.2 Shop Owners must not use the platform to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited messages via WhatsApp.

4.3 Shop Owners are responsible for all content sent to their customers via the Doobitech platform.

4.4 Shop Owners must comply with all applicable UAE laws including but not limited to the UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) when handling customer personal data.

5. Trade license requirement

5.1 Shop Owners must hold a valid UAE trade license to use Doobitech.

5.2 A copy of the trade license must be uploaded during the setup process. Doobitech reserves the right to suspend accounts where the license is expired, invalid, or not provided.

5.3 A 30-day grace period is provided after license expiry before suspension. Warning messages are sent at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry.

6. WhatsApp and 360dialog

6.1 Doobitech uses 360dialog as its WhatsApp Business API provider. Each shop operates on its own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

6.2 All WhatsApp message templates must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. Doobitech is not responsible for template rejections by Meta.

6.3 WhatsApp message delivery is subject to Meta's infrastructure and cannot be guaranteed 100% by Doobitech.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 All software, design, code, and content forming the Doobitech platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Doobitech.

7.2 Shop Owners retain ownership of their own business data (orders, customer contacts, services). Doobitech does not claim ownership of this data.

7.3 Shop Owners grant Doobitech a limited licence to process their business data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 Doobitech provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8.2 Doobitech's total liability to any Shop Owner shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that Shop Owner in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8.3 Doobitech is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Data and privacy

Your use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Doobitech processes personal data in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).

10. Termination

10.1 Doobitech may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious breach.

10.2 Upon termination, the Shop Owner's data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by UAE law.

11. Changes to these Terms

Doobitech may update these Terms at any time. Shop Owners will be notified via email and WhatsApp at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai mainland (DED).
